About the Conference
Indian Chitin and Chitosan Society (ICCS) was formed in 2010 in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India with the key aspiration for the development and promotion of technologies based on the biopolymers chitin/chitosan countrywide as well as on the international scale in agriculture, medicine/pharmacy, environment, biotechnology, nanotechnology etc., and for the development of innovative commercial products. ICCS coordinate yearly meetings on national basis, arrange and conduct seminars, workshops and courses to transfer the research developments and to create innovative ideas. The Society also encourages the scientific community by honoring the scientists/industrialists for the eminent contributions in the field of chitin/chitosan research.
